Well Friends, the UTP get Second and Third Place in the "CHALLENGE SEBRAE"

The second and third place of the final of the Challenge Sebrae Panamá 2011, which takes as a subject matter the “Manufacture of Ecological Vehicles " and which was carried out on Tuesday, the 25th of October, it occupied two of four groups that they were representing to the Technological University of Panama (UTP) in this competition.

The Group Vehlogic, which occupied the second place integrated by Emiliano Raise, Kathia Valencia, Carolaine Barrios, Marcos Montero and Roxana Valdés, all of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering of the UTP.

While the group that occupied the third place, The Ecological UTP, was formed by Fabio Reinoso, Carlos Corcho and Gerardo Aparicio, of the Faculty of Systems engineering Computations.

The winning group of the first place was that of The Duff of the University Santa Maria the Antigua.

This event, which took place at the Visitors' Center of Miraflores, was attendend by Secretary of the Authority of the Micro, Small and Medium Company (AMPYME); the President of COSPAE; Vicerrector of Investigation, Postdegree and Extension and representatives of Sebrae Brasil.

The Challenge Sebrae is a business game, which seeks to stimulate the university students, to thinking and to turn into enterprising futures. This year, 3,500 young persons registered in this contest, of which 28 were selected to compete in the National Final and 15 of them to be representatives of the Technological University of Panama.
